God awful… please – less hyperbole and 16 mins less might make this watchable.
Did you really call a runway an airport road?!? 🤦♂
another semi-AI generated mashup of goulash as if speaking to a 5-year old well, maybe you are. lol
Um…that’s a B-52 Stratofortress
Spitfire pilot flu the plan into the ground
I have to wonder if the aircraft hangars at San Luis Obispo airport are all built to that same standard, how has this same thing not happened before? Or has it, but not been captured on video?
Aircraft are built to be as light as practical but still sufficiently sturdy to withstand the range of stresses expected in normal flight, with additional strength calculated to anticipate emergencies and buffeting known to occur.
The Hangars meant to protect the aircraft in STORAGE and maintenance are supposed to be STRONGER, and actually anchored to the EARTH, not free to relocate on a whim.
There must be STANDING RULES at many airports about commercial passenger and Cargo jets running up their engines in certain locations. We have now collective experience of the POWER of multi-engine Jet Aircraft from SEVEN Full DECADES of operations, and propellers generate substantial blast.
Hey I spent fifteen years of my life in California. In Ventura County The Santa Ana winds come down from the hills toward the coast Almost yearly. They can be fierce, Sustained winds of over 40mph, with long gust up to 70, lasting for 3 to 5 days.
At 3.30 the commentator says that the pilot managed to land the airplane despite the engine stopped , it's not a case of control lost by the pilot like previously said, what a stupid comment .The guy could not help himself with the next video of the hangar taking off . Commonsense would tell that the small airplane could not produce so much power . Bye, I have seen enough .
Jet blast behind a large passenger aircraft can reach 375MPH ( Boldmethod 2-22-24 “ How far should you taxi behind a jet”
That's an r-22
Су-25 – не истребитель.Это штурмовик,аналог американского А-20 Warthog.
It looked like to me me the hanger wasn t bolted down to concrete thats why it blew over easliy
R22
WOW!
When the first Jet went down and the Pilot is on the ground it sounds like you can hear a jet flying nearby. I wonder if it shot it down.
1:50 nah really?
Spitfire ist perfekt gestartet und gelandet , bravo !
The Su-25 ejection was in Russia before the war was even going on, and yes he hit lines and damaged his stabilizer thats why you see the plane pitch up and not stop. He was only a few 100ft off the ground so had to instantly eject and hit the ground harder than normal but made it.
Most ejection seats have 0 0 performance. Zero altitude and speed. So a human can safely eject even when parked. The best seats can even ensure an upward trajectory when the aircraft is upside down. The seat has maneuvering thrusters and autopilot. For a few seconds.
the su-25 isnt a fighter???its a strike aircraft
How do they come up with a figure of 100 million for one fighter plane? Someone somewhere is having a laugh all the way to the bank.
That little black helicopter is not a Robertson R44. It’s a R22 two seater. The 44 is a four seater. More mistakes here than my school spelling test.
The word ‘tragedy’ must have a different meaning for this narrator.
A flipped over small plane would not have 3 flat tyres
i think the reason the Spitfire flipped was the fact he increased the throttle to quick and it had too much power, yanking the nose down during takeoff.
The Spitfire pilot pulled back on the stick too early.
"….with only a few cracked ribs."
Call me sentimental but the fact that the spitfire could be salvaged and is air-worthy again does my heart good.
