I think those columns are bs somehow injected into report about house structures and it went viral. It's hard to trace how/why it happened. Maybe it's an attempt to discredit initial report because if they detected new chambers inside a pyramid it would be reason to drill. Hawass as a Muslim wants to keep it all as it is, not to rock the boat and no more digging/drilling.
