Pascal's law is a principle in fluid mechanics given by Blaise Pascal that states that a pressure change at any point in a confined incompressible fluid is transmitted throughout the fluid such that the same change occurs everywhere.
It's example if you get a car on a platform with liquid under it(incompressible) …..and push down with higher force from a side with lower surface area you can push that car up….๐
Thats atmospheric air pressure, dont give credit to the fluid. All its doing is going with the flow

They didnโt need to cap both ends of the straw (avoiding the dunking the finger into the drink). One end would have maintained straw pressure and kept fluid in.
