  1. No physical mods or parts are needed to get 400+bhp from the Ranger, it's purely a software change. I would be amazed if there aren't tuners all over the EU with the right map to unlock the potential.

  2. James and CAR magazine, this was simply an awesome video. There are so many different approaches to fun off-road driving. ;) I see the Ford Ranger Raptor being used as it should be here in Slovenia, but for the Land Rover Defender OCTA, it's just sad that we already know 99% of owners will never take it off-road but use it as a school run car.

If I had the money for any of them, the Ariel Nomad is the one to get. ;)

  3. Octa’s of course will only ever be seen on the M1 and in Central London, so few owners take their lesser Defenders out on the rough stuff there will be even fewer who will take an Octa anywhere near a puddle full of muddy water – Regent Street and Waitrose car parks more likely which is such a pity because even the base D200 hard top 90 Defender is huge fun Offroad.

  4. Here in Australia, it comes with 285kW/580Nm, and there’s a Au$6,500 option for 380kW/780Nm, which is somewhere between hilarious and terrifying! 0-100km.h times are 6 and 5 seconds, respectively!
