Humanoid robots enter full-scale commercial production in China as application scenarios expand



Chinese robotic companies are mass producing humanoid robots as the application scenarios for bi-ped bots continues to expand.

This robot producer in Shanghai makes a range of robots, from toys to those used in industrial settings.

But this year, the founder of the company says, humanoid robots have been amongst the most popular, with security guard a common use case.

Industry experts say that since AI is developing at an exponential speed, the robotic industry will undergo a radical transformation in the near future.

A recent industry report shows that the market size of China’s humanoid robot industry reached about 380 million U.S. dollars last year, with that number expected to reach over 10 billion by 2029.
