I appreciate your video and also your thoughts as I struggle to loosen up with my florals. I am so tight I about squeak. I grow a gorgeous huge flower garden so I have plenty of inspiration but I overwork terribly and expect perfection, and due to life events have gotten out of practice. I love your work. No one is buying anything these days because they cannot afford to eat, sadly. You are fabulous and so is your art.

BTW I tend to miss details…like the 30 days of sketching is "watercolor"…😂 I've just been trying to do a little pencil sketch in my book each day. The good news–I'm actually sketching each day! I liked everything about your layering: colors, brushstroke direction, shadows, extra color zap at the end. And this is just me but I liked also the graphic touches: the dots in this painting and the careful bisected leaves of an earlier 2nd pair.
