About halfway through I'm wondering what gifts he received i.e., telepathy, strong magnetic field, a knowing, etc., that many people refer to as 'spiritual'? I had the classic experiences when I was five years old, long before this was ever in mass media. I didn't even think of the intruding beings as space aliens, but more as little folk, like the munchkins in Wizard of Oz. Except these were little dark blue guys with large heads like the Olmec stone heads, exactly like the "little blue doctors" described by Whitley Strieber in Communion, and exactly as shown in the movie. But that was roughly two decades after my experiences. Nothing like that was in the zeitgeist, certainly not in my awareness. It was terrifying, i couldn't make sense of it, so i just filed it away and never told a soul until Whitley's book came out.
