Breeding season, an unfortunate discovery, and a new stock bull

In this video, I AI a cow and introduce you to my new stock bull as well

Hi lad them is super cow's and calf's and the best of luck with your cow's in going incalf keep up the good work with lad 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video Darragh, cows and calves are a credit to you. Well worth the effort of getting them in for Ai when you have calves like them on the ground. Just mind that Blue 1st calver that got Drumline. He’s breeding great stuff, but just be wary next January when she’s calving that the blue might click with him👍
My rain tank off the house which is 7feet deep , 4 ft wide and 17 feet long was nearly dry last week ,, checked yesterday and it was nearly full,,
Must have rained some amount
How many AI do you hold in stock for the cows 🐄 🐄
Congrats on the new Bull,, 🐂 hope he is a success ❤
Sorry about the poor calf,, real shame 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
Very interesting video, thank you for sharing
Limousine are having a tough time of it. Bonsmara types perhaps as maternals
Great informative video Dara, enjoy listening to the knowledge you have about your herd. You have some lovely quite and compact cows. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for all the information.
Hello Dara. Did you ever use a Stabiliser bull?
What a shame about the calf. But that’s a nippy new bull. Looks the business
Great to see you using Parthenaise Dara. We have been breeding Parthenaise for years and find them to be great mothers and calves great for getting up and sucking when born.
ICBF don’t think much of Cavelands Jolly, shows how much they know about breeding cattle. Are you in the SCEP scheme?? The cow you Ai’ed was very quiet and didn’t move much, would you not put the cows in the head lock gate at the front of the crush when inseminating them so they can’t move back on top of you??
Sorry bout the calf you took it well lad respect 🇮🇪 🇮🇪🇮🇪 loving the channel pal
Do you ever use blonds
Great choice of bull
Best of luck
Sorry about the calf when you have livestock you have deadlock .you have very good stock theyare a credit to you. How many cows do you keep ? Agreat video take care❤
Pt8923 hongrois a great partenaise bull Dara very happy with him.
Morning Dara lovely Angus bull should bring a nice mix with your cows and heifers.
Good video. Tough to find a dead animal it's the rough side of farming. Nothing you could do. All the rest of the animals look good as usual. You could do with a few fine days.
I lost a great bull calve Friday aswell. Pain in the hole..
A bugger about the Charolais calf.
Is there much difference within the Partenais breed for calving ease? Where would you rate them as a breed for calving ease (approx)? Between a Limousin and Simmental or easier than the Limousin? I used a Parthenais bull back in the 1990's but calving was a bit of an issue.
A great video thanks Dara, I enjoy the detail and fingers crossed for fine, warm weather. 56mm of rain down here in the last 48 hours too. Hoping for warm weather now before the end of May and winter.
