Low transmission oil in the transfer box
Sounds like the FLEX PLATE, as broke
Sooo these have been shitty cars for years ๐ค๐
Itโs low transmission oil mine did the same and I had to top it up
Got same noise. Lol
Torque converter maybe?
Did you ever find an answer?
I think he was offloading in an amazon rainforest and I think he knackered the transfercase
Sounds like the yoke to me, between the transmission and the transfer case(teeth sheered…).
Transfer box, had same noise on mine it was the front diff where the drive shaft fits I had blown a few teeth of the cogs, if you can repair it yourself you will save a hell of a lot of money. Unlike me ๐
I have no idea what was making those noises, but my car just had its Auto gear box stop working. Find in park and all the rest. I topped up the transmission oil and away it went, but as for the whaling noises. Sounded like a torque drill in the back ground. Other than that, i have no idea.
Shocking that nobody knows what that is ๐. Even if you had no knowledge on them you could guess with just common sense. Hope you all are a few years into learning about them since this video was posted. Good luck
Sounds at times like theme music in a 1970s horror film.
Come on mate ya cant leave us all wondering, wtf noise was it?
thats not torque converter if u have cdl engage it and remove front prop test then rear prop see if noise goes
id hazard a guess transfer box or output shaft or diff deffo not tc
The engine needs to be flushed
sounds like a knackered Torque Converter.
Gearbox oil filter change, maybe
what was the problem in the end? and what was the cure?
