  1. I love how it starts with "There aren't enough workers to fill the jobs…" because this isn't taking over any human jobs, just jobs no one wants, then later Jacob says "it got to the point where we couldn't do that anyone more, it's too labor intensive" so what it is? There isn't enough labor, or labor costs too much?

  2. They think there just gonna consolidate all that tech n profit for themselves and not have to distribute that wealth?? Good luck with that geniuses

  3. Labour shortage is the term they're going to use to usher in the AI revolution… someone wasn't willing to work for $10 an hour to do back breaking labour so there's a "labour shortage"… need to replace them with a robot…

  4. I was hoping to see machines picking fruit and veges with the robotic tentacle arms like in the matrix, instead it's just a glorified shopping cart.

  5. Young people in the future will do absolutely nothing robots will do everything for them. Iโ€™m glad I was brought into the world during a time when we do everything manually because if the machines stop working the young people will be lost.

  6. AI can solve all problems except helping a individual to earn living wage, poverty, homelessness, beat inflation, fix crooked politicans and inhuman exploitation of people and environment by big corporation cause government and corporations aren't interested to pay for that.

  7. Low wage in agriculture might be the cause of labor shortage, but the supermarkets say consumers too are not willing to pay a fair price for their food items, so they propose to buy cheaper ftom the farmer. The farmer being a business man too, needs to make a decent living, from his effort. It goes round and round. At least, the AI will not complain of exploitation.

  8. comments are focused on immigration, which is understandable, but small picture: In a few years, robots and ai will be better than humans at most jobs. we won't be worrying about immigration but the entire economy, both in the US and the world at large. hopefully we'll use AI to create abundance for all.

  9. "Come work my farm. I'll award you portions of ownership the longer you stay the more you work." Yeah, right! That's why there's no workers. It's your land, your profits. All I'll get is a barely survivable labor wage.

  10. I fail to see how exactly their machines couldn't be made before this AI hype/technology? I just notice these days that a lot of companies will say that their tech is all about AI when in reality it could have been made years ago or that the tech was already a thing before AI.

  11. Nature can be wonderful if we treated fair. With the population explosion around the world ,means that any any technology that we use hands off means someone is going to be idled . That will lead to chaos.
