Tesla Robots Were Remotely Operated by Humans at Cybercab Launch

Tesla Inc. used humans to remotely control some capabilities of its Optimus robot prototypes at a recent event designed to generate investor enthusiasm for forthcoming products, according to people familiar with the matter.

Employees stationed elsewhere oversaw many of the interactions between the humanoid machines and attendees of last weekโ€™s โ€œWe, Robotโ€ showcase near Los Angeles, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing company operations. The Optimus prototypes were able to walk without external control using artificial intelligence, the people said.

  1. Ok we all suspected it was like that , but like you said tesla did not disclose how it was done so i was hoping you back your video claiming it done like this with some proof of any kind …….

  2. This is basically the robot guy from jiujitsu kaisen, a way for people to be somewhere or do things they otherwise wouldnt be able to do because of health or sickness

  3. Honestly, it was pretty obvious that telepresence was involved in the demonstration. Hanson robotics and Engineered Arts have done the same thing at trade-shows, and were far less candid about it.

  4. My concern will always be that it could be controlled at anytime by its company. It's like having a giant webcam with mic and that moves and follow commands inside your house. If we can't fully turn off a cellphone, imagine these.

  5. Awesome man i love youโคโค๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰you are the greatest god truly bless you cover you totally Amenโคโคโคโคโคโคโคโคโค๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

  6. People who donโ€™t know robotics donโ€™t understand how impressive this is. Building a mechanical body that is dexterous enough to play rock paper scissors and pour drinks from a tap is incredibly difficult, even with remote control. If the body is already this advanced, given how quickly AI is advancing the concept is still very achievable in the next decade.

  7. Do you realize how INCREDIBLY useful remotely operated robots could be? I have two aging parents that live far away. If I could remotely operate a robot at my Parent's house, and talk to them thru it from my house, 1,000 miles away… THAT WOULD BE INCREDIBLE.

  8. Oh so the reason they were not very good is because they couldnt make something not good enough better in 3 weeks. Ok got it, enough with the "Elon is my hero" bro.

Tony stark made this in a month, in a cave with primitive tools. Elon is not tony stark. Elon is iron monger.

  9. The fact It can be teleoperated that way surprises me even more than a fully autonomous version. Of course a future AI Model will operate it too by itself but the current AIs are chatbots, the level of AI that is required to control a full body is an Agent, a completed spirit that takes possession of the physical creature.

  10. I really appreciate your efforts! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

  11. It was so obvious it was laughable to watch people speaking to the as if it were true AI Robot speaking.
    It's as FRAUDULENT as Tesla's $12,000 autonomous driving…
