2017 Land Rover Discovery HSE: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive and Review

Today we take a look at the 2017 Land Rover Discovery! This particular car had the 3.0L supercharged V6, also available is the 3.0L turbo diesel V6. This SUV now replaces the LR4 and there is a smaller option, the Discovery Sport which is a 5 seater. The car looks awesome with sleek angles, it has lost the box look from the LR4. Interior is prestigious as expected with the full leather seats and wood finish. The power for a 5K lb suv is on par and it can get up and move! I love the driving experience of this SUV and the off road capabilities is incredible! I would love the chance to take one off road and experience what it has to offer!

  1. I love my LR4 but I think the new Discovery loses most of what made the first 4 generations such an icon. it no longer has the practical tall rear roof, boxy proportions. I get the need to decrease weight and smooth out airflow for MPGs, but they could have managed to retain the classic LR look, while modernizing it to today's fuel efficiency and aerodynamic standards.
