Government says the country will by the end of this month start manufacturing batteries for solar panels and car batteries.
Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister CHIPOKA MULENGA says the production will be done in the Zambia-Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone in Chibombo District.
In an interview with ZNBC News, Mr. MULENGA also disclosed that the feasibility study on the manufacturing of Electric Vehicle -EV- batteries in Ndola has been completed.
