I feel like people seem to forget what happened in the predator vs alien movies, a xenomorph that came out of a predator/Yautja literally became a hybrid of the 2 and was stronger faster and bigger the it's normal counter part and was able to take on the other predators/Yautja easily
Why? Nobody read the comic did they? These Aliens were breed tougher than normal aliens. Throw in simple attrition rates and even if The Thing didn't get face hugged he'd have to continuously fight off MILLIONS of aliens. Jonny Storms the same way. Sue, even in Hard mode, wouldn't last more than a few hundred battles. Hell Ghost Rider has a mortal form and is an EZ target! Even Spidey Sense doesn't work!!
Now throw in 4 different war fronts and even tougher xenomorphs.. Your left with the extremely lucky, super durable, those who don't have a mouth & hyper regen who are the survivors.

Tbh out of all things a biological weapon could get properly resistant to would be magic, as they could be magic themselves. But it will always be: attack vs defense and how much they can take and why these questions can always be answered with: plot. Because if plot requires it, they are reistant. If plot dictates so, a good night's science binging will allow Tony to make a virus that can kill One-Above-All.

Honestly with how OP a lot of the characters in marvel can get but still be beaten, it feels like a bit of a copout to make them resistant to pretty much everything. A better way of leveling the playing field would be making it so the xenomorphs could share what abilities they adapt with other xenomorphs nearby

If they are able to contend and adapt to tarkatans then they can and will harvest the heroes and villains. Deadmorph though he'd just do his own thing like all the other Deadpool variants. A Galactus Xeno would be op especially if it was a queen Xeno.
In other words, the writers pulled some straight bullsh1t outta their a$$ to make this work, because otherwise the xenomorphs would be little more than a slightly more aggressive infestation of termites.
