  1. This reminds me of the science fiction/fantasy writers suing studios who held writes to novels related to various movies – i.e., Star Wars. When one company bought another company, they stopped paying the writers and the gist of it was that the contracts that were signed were endorsed by the original company and not the present company who bought them out and thus they considered the contract null and void. The writers have argued against this for at least two years.

  2. It's the job of the courts to decide. I hope that they make a good job. Before a sentence, the accused is to be considered not guilty. I know how hard this is for the suspected victims. But it helps to avoid further escalation.

  3. Thank you Patrick, for bringing this video out, I have the greatest respect for James Fox, and he does not deserve what is happening, he has put his reputation, and safety on the line many times, especially when he went to Peru……I will always support James Fox and I am sure there are many more supporters out there!!

  4. Weren't they doing the same to Dr Greer? I remember seeing a tweet about it. Maybe Greer was talking about fox?
Edited: Chicken soup for the soul was doing things to the Lost century as well.

  5. This happens all the time in film/documentary/video/tv (and with many other businesses). The people who suffer the most are those that do the actual creative work. Mega delayed payments and colleagues suing to get paid are both things that have happened on documentaries I’ve edited. No conspiracy.

  6. I called chicken soup and literally asked why they are withholding royalties/payments, etc. they said they are cash constrained, and would not answer many more questions because they don't know who I am

  7. That really sucks. 1091 was putting out so many good ufo, cryptid & paranormal films. I hope they all get their money back, but sad if Chicken Soup puts the company out of business. Hope a good company picks up their films.

  8. Ever since it first came out, I've made watching The Phenomenon required viewing for my undergraduate seminar on UFOs and the paranormal. Before that I used Out of the Blue .These documentaries are simply the best way to bring people up to speed on UFOs/UAPs. Without James Fox, our UFO research community would be far less strong and viable. I'm hoping James comes out of the lawsuit with a judgement that makes his life easier. If there's going to be a collection of monies to help pay his legal fees, I hope, Patrick, that you'll let us know so we can donate. 👽
