Soundwaves: The Symphony of Physics
Sound is one of the most vivid ways we interact with the underlying science of the universe. A sound can make us laugh, cry or cower in fear, but it can also help us understand our world, how it works and what it’s made of. Sound is something we all take for granted, but, in fact, when you hear something you’re listening to the sound of pure physics. In this engrossing two-part series Helen Czerski goes on a spectacular journey into the world of sound to discover what it is and what it reveals about the fundamental forces of nature.

Very well presented. Thanks
The explanations of a candle flickering is a bit simple. Itโs a wavefront. And if youโd install those candles in standing wave point youโd get a different result.
Transducer speakers/Bone conduction headphones work great for those losing their hearing
The sound waves from the cone are not truly being read through the candles. It's the compression and decompression of the cone pushing forward and back into place and replacing the air. If you watch the candles to the sides. They do not move at all because the air displacement is offsides from the cone. I could do this with an umbrella. The cone movement is technically fanning the flames.
When it started by showing the sound of a tree, I had no idea this video would bring me tears by the end of it. Just beautiful.
I started out being amazed by the physics of acoustics and then cried
Here's a funny idea, could you take those patterns and reconstruct the sound? Given a set of specific parameters within an algorithm, essentially modelling the stiffness and characteristics of a finite (or infinite) plate vibrating with the sound, wouldn't you be able to partially compress the audio by coding the pattern?
THIS MEANS WE ARE INSIDE OF THE SOUND WAVES WITHIN THE ATOMS…..THE FOOD BODYS ARE CAPABLE @ HIGHER VIBRATIONS HIGHER POSSIBILITIES. WE ARE ALTERNATING WITHIN THE FREQS LISTEN TO THE NOISE YOUR MAKING ITS GROSS,,,THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL THING YOU PUT TOGETHER NOW HEALING CAN BEGIN.๐๐ฟโ๐
I cried right along with Barbara!
What a wonderful experience!!!
SOOOO VERY HAPPY FOR HER๐๐๐๐๐
Wow amazing
5:22 Just to precise that the frequencies permitting these patterns to emerge, are in strict relation to the size (and all other properties) of the plate in use.
More than less she hears sound of moving branches in the wind….๐ ๐ ๐
they cutting off thousand year old trees cause they dont know sheets. and they've been used to over spending on everything. such peasants of so called higher ups. HAH. its either shame on them or god knows better. but whatever, ignorance is bliss and forgive the dumb.
cool
Brilliant! A truly efficacious science.
00:03 – Honey, you just hear a vibration from your hand.
Can you hear the forest though the trees?
The BBC is a state broadcaster and as such is a tool of the state, the state utilizes the BBC to push it's agenda and the end result is state propaganda, we need that propaganda to justify the actions of the state used to control the population and garner support of the wars and sanctions that we impose on other countries to keep them in control whilst taking there resources.
But all countries do it.
It's only more recently that we in the west have woken up that we are being spoon feed propaganda.
We were told that media propaganda was generally exclusive to places like China, Russia and north Korea but ironically that was propaganda.
Wait till you realise that China and Russia are actually slightly less evil than us.
Amazing God! Thank you to all scientistsโค

I REALLY ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL SOUNDS OF NATURE๐
Everything has a vibration.
[12:16] We have come so far as humans, but as well fallen so deep.

Quel est le tรดt de rรฉussite d'un implant comme celui-ci ?
Oh!! The twist in this small documentary. Science โคโค
Can you make the same experiment with the candles BUT place a glas/plastic in front of the speaker. Will the candles move like before? If they do then it's energy instead of air
Yeah and where is the extended part of the sounds of nature ?
