  1. Unsolved Mysteries went into the civilian body business. People pay to go to a hotel ballroom, like a conference, and they perform autopsies. These people often collect parts as also. So creepy.

  2. I wonder what folks learned from the calcutta skeletons. That region was in 50+ famines 1900-50. So definitely musta had impact on bones. They must've looked different.

  3. The chassidic community NEVER HAD AN ORGAN SELLING RING! There is an organization called renewal that is dedicated to getting members of the comminuted to donate kidneys voluntarily and helping those who need kidneys find matches. I volunteered as a donor with them but unfortunately I didn't pass the medical screening to be able to donate. No money changes hands AT ALL.

  4. looks like he has a personal agenda against Huberman because he just keeps circling back to him lol. We got that Huberman is also a jerk already in the first sentences… Probably he is telling the truth but I don't watch Huberman anymore because of the drop in video quality and some shady stuff with supplements, and btw Mike had a scandal during cvid himself when he celebrated his bday with a party, but whatever :D I actually think he should use Mike's platform for saying a few more things. Sounds like he is using this as a therapy and not a serious video about the topic. :D

  5. Could not make it all the way through this, even with the disclaimer. It’s painful to see this guy get a platform on such a normally informed place. He’s throwing out accusations without citing sources, which is something that the people he is accusing mostly do (even if I don’t particularly like those he is accusing).

  6. So, this guy doesn’t like the guys on the leading edge because he seems to perceive them as “bro science” or just trying to be famous. Seems he’s doing the same without the actual Bona Fides.

  7. Thanks for being actively retrospective and including this into your podcast. It's a great example to let people see that process.
It's one of the biggest reasons I listen to this podcast, because of these introspective moments, being reflective, being reminded of the process of critical thinking (and how hard it can be).

  8. I have to be honest, I started watching Dr Mike after a short finding him adorably attractive. Became a subscriber due to his thinking and communication to the viewers.
Always interesting to see what is produced next. I also would like to add that my mother is one of those patients now, where if her Dr tells her to watch for the side effects, she "develops" them.

  9. Talk about the "pot calling the kettle black" – I love Huberman and his mission and all the other scientists to try to share the knowledge and wisdom. Its up to each individual to take it or not and do their own research but the concept of making science easily consumable is a gift and valuable.

  10. I'm subscribed to both Dr. Attia and Dr. Huberman. Although I've watched Huberman a lot more, I've found a lot of simple steps to take that could greatly improve most people's lives. Most importantly exercising and breathing. I haven't even paid attention to any supplements they recommend because I know the effect of those would be so minimal compared to exercising.

  11. The issue they are discussing about Jumping to conclusions and skipping steps in the process (to prove causation without enough evidence) seems like it's also the same thing I heard in the beginning of this video about the lady that jumped from the building "because of" meditation. I don't feel like there was enough there to prove causation but maybe there is more info about it in Scott's book…?
