I’m back with another of our most requested guests! Tricia Helfer is one of my favorite humans and I feel so so very lucky to not only know her, but to have worked with her. You obviously know her from her work on Battlestar Galactica but she spent years before that as a model. We talk about all that, how she used to work in the nude on a farm growing up, her history with Sylvester Stallone, losing her hair on Battlestar, and how she got discovered as a kid. Tricia is one of the most practical and put together people I know and it was such a pleasure, as always, to spend some time with her. Enjoy!

I personally think it is FAR too soon for a reboot. I have the box set of BSG but have never watched it because the original predominates in my memory like it was yesterday- the writing and intense acting was simply that great.
Damn, she was Platinum blonde the whole series so I assumed it was a wig. But bleaching every 10 days for 4 years ?? Poor woman ! 😮😢

I hope they never reboot BSG. People need to come up with more original ideas. Do something that hasn't been shown before instead of trying to make 'better' versions of recent shows.

Tricia is just blessed. And fated with opportunity. There was no way any normal human would deny herself that glamorous and adventurous life. Glad it didn’t corrupt her and we got to see her great acting talent.
Learning that she grew up on a farm makes me like her even more.
@10:11 So…little girl Tricia saw Barbie & Ken in the roll of "Love Dolls" and little girl Katee saw Barbie & Ken as "Crash Test Dummies", that's so funny. I thought I went to a small school my class in high school had 98 kids that graduated in 1994
Great interview. The non-script format was a great choice. I am a fan of both your acting careers. But Tricia reminds me a lot of my ex-wife and mother of our two kids. Similar looks, similar career but at a lower level. Both are Canadian though! If they do decide for a new 3rd BSG, yours will be remembered as the best one. So say we all.
This really rounds out my impression of Tricia! As Six, her performance was always so perfectly narrow, like it was supposed to be. Whereas Katee as Kara Thrace was always presented as a broad spectrum human, also as it was supposed to be. This interview humanizes Tricia so fantastically!
You two are gems. BSG was IMO, the best Sci-Fi show on TV, ever.

Tricia Helfer is one of those actresses that has appeared in almost everything on TV. I didn't know her name (only the face was familiar) until I watched Lucifer where she played his mother in Season 2. I laughed when you mixed 2022 and 2002 lol. Great episode.

I got to meet Tricia briefly at GenCon in Indianapolis in the mid 2000's. Battlestar had just come out. Super nice lady. Nothing like the murderbot she played on the show.

Great episode. Thanks for sharing it. Crazy it's been so many years since BSC. I have never before or since been so engrossed in a show, especially the first two seasons. For me, as soon as the episode ended each Friday, it was "start the clock."

PS. You both look younger than the days of BSG. Nice. I stopped photo drawings for now but as you are a fellow Aries when I get the chance I will create a Drawing on your clothes. I am sure I can find a picture of you wearing white on the net. I dont know when but I let you know when its done. An Anastasi drawing goes a long way. You can print it and put in your house and I guarantee you It will look super cool. Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Vincent van Goh and Max Ernst are all Aries. Now we have Anastasi in our family. I will do one for Tricia too another fellow Aries. That's why you get on very well, My best friend in London is an Aries.

Really enjoyed seeing you guys together and getting to listen to you reminisce about Battlestar. My girlfriend and I waited every week for the next episode. I loved that because she isn't the biggest scifi fan but her groans at the end of cliff hangers still crack me up. She would sometimes call and remind me to hurry up and get home from work Battlestar is on tonight ect ect. It was a great show and it was fun to watch but the best part was sharing it with her! Thank you both for the great show.
My greatest regret was how the starcraft community treated you Tricia. You are the Queen of blades.
