Transformers G1 WheelJack Robot and Alt Mode Lancia Stratos Turbo Group 5 CGI 3D Animation

Part of the crew of the Ark, Wheeljack served as Optimus Prime’s top scientist during the early years of the Autobot-Decepticon conflict on Earth. His creations tended to backfire on him, such as the unruly Dinobots. His inventions also tended to backfire on him, such as his Immobilizer. And everything else tended to explode on him (see image at left). Regardless, he remained Prime’s top scientist until his death in 2005 during the Battle of Autobot City.

In a splinter timeline, Wheeljack would have better luck with his inventions and his survival, escaping his supposed death in 2005. That same year, he received a new Binaltech body, but lost it due to time travel. In 2011, he joined the Disaster Relief Team to assist Autobots caught in the destruction of Cybertron. Then, in 2015, he revived the deceased God Ginrai as Victory Leo. And during the G-2 Wars, he discovered the Reconfiguration Matrix, which kept Optimus Prime from dying again.
