  1. fake crap if you knew your bible you would know this is fake…u got some gay painter davinci painting JESUS and everyone thinks hey man JESUS had long HAIR..lol the BIBLE is the word of GOD people dont read it or listen to it people dont care but they love this fake crap ..read your bible trust only that Co 11:13  Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

1Co 11:14  Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

1Co 11:15  But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

  2. The BIBLE is CLEAR that there was NO single shroud that Jesus was wrapped in, but linen cloths, with a single cloth or "towel" that was wrapped around his head SEPARATE from multiple linen cloths that was wrapped around his body, as John 20:3-7 states:

"Then Peter and the other disciple (John) set out for the tomb. The two of them began running together, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and reached the tomb first. Stooping forward, he saw the linen cloths (PLURAL, "linen cloths", Greek othonion, meaning "a linen bandage, strips of linen") lying there, but he did not go in."

"Then Simon Peter also came, following him, and he went into the tomb. And he saw the linen cloths (PLURAL, "linen cloths", Greek othonion, meaning "a linen bandage, strips of linen") lying there. The cloth (single, Greek soudarion, meaning "a sweat cloth, i.e. towel, as for binding the face of a corpse", see Luke 19:20 where it was used to keep money in; Acts 19:12 where cloths that touched the apostle Paul's body took away sicknesses and expelled demons) that had been on his (Jesus) head was NOT lying with the OTHER cloth bands (PLURAL, Greek othonion) but was rolled up in a place by itself."

Upon Lazarus death, he was wrapped in a similar way as Jesus, with a cloth (Greek soudarion or a towel) wrapped around his head and the rest of the body wrapped in different cloths (Greek keiria, meaning "a swath, i.e. winding sheet", such as linen) when he was laid in a tomb, for John 11:44 states:

"The man who had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings (plural, Greek keiria, meaning "a swath, i.e. winding sheet"), and his face was wrapped with a (single) cloth ("cloth", Greek soudarion, meaning "a sweat cloth, i.e. towel"). Jesus said to them: “Free him and let him go.”

So, what Jesus (and Lazarus) was wrapped in was NOT even remotely a "shroud", but a series of cloths, one for the head (a towel or sweat cloth), and the rest of the body with wrappings or linen cloths, like taking a roll of medical gauze and wrapping a wound, going round and round until covered.

The Shroud of Turin (that is 14 ft long) has been shown as a fake, dated around the 13th/14th century C.E. by three prestigious laboratories, at the University of Arizona, at Oxford, and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, with each not revealing their results, but were each sent independently to the British Museum for certification in 1988 C.E., whereby the Shroud of Turin was dated as from 1260-1390 C.E.

But Catholics (and others) will reject the sound evidence and still cling to the false belief that it is "the image of Jesus". It will be their loss, for these ones are like what the apostle Paul wrote about at 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4:

"If, in fact, the good news we declare is veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God (and NOT God), might not shine through."

  3. Jesus was modest and humble. Matthew 11:29 says that He was ‘meek and lowly in heart’ meaning that he was humble and didn’t vaunt himself. I don’t believe that He would leave behind an image of himself with a bare chest (the Bible says we are to be covered) and long hair (the Bible also says that long hair is shameful to a man). This entire (false) ‘image’ contradicts the Bible completely which also happens to condemn images and idols.

  4. I am impressed by the height of Christ…shows the strength and physical appearance being larger than life. SUre there are people in our world now that are taller, but this means Christ is right up there with the stature of a powerful man in control of himself

  5. Christ is white and ruddy which means mary was white and being both of the priestly line and david/king line and hebrew laws states that they cant narry outside the tribes of israel then israelites are white.

My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven. His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

  7. In 1543, John Calvin, in his book Treatise on Relics, explained the reason why the Shroud cannot be genuine:[51]

In all the places where they pretend to have the graveclothes, they show a large piece of linen by which the whole body, including the head, was covered, and, accordingly, the figure exhibited is that of an entire body. But the Evangelist John relates that Christ was buried, "as is the manner of the Jews to bury." What that manner was may be learned, not only from the Jews, by whom it is still observed, but also from their books, which explain what the ancient practice was. It was this: The body was wrapped up by itself as far as the shoulders, and then the head by itself was bound round with a napkin, tied by the four corners, into a knot. And this is expressed by the Evangelist, when he says that Peter saw the linen clothes in which the body had been wrapped lying in one place, and the napkin which had been wrapped about the head lying in another. The term napkin may mean either a handkerchief employed to wipe the face, or it may mean a shawl, but never means a large piece of linen in which the whole body may be wrapped. I have, however, used the term in the sense which they improperly give to it. On the whole, either the Evangelist John must have given a false account, or every one of them must be convicted of falsehood, thus making it manifest that they have too impudently imposed on the unlearned.
    John 20:7
The cloth that had been around Jesus' head was rolled up, lying separate from the linen cloths.

    John 20:
So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. 4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. 8

Jewish custom dictated that Jesus’ torso be wrapped to His armpits. His preparers would have then placed Jesus’ arms straight alongside His body, before wrapping more linen cloth around Him, to the neck. A separate cloth was wrapped around His head. As the gummy myrrh would have adhered so closely to Jesus’ body, it would have been difficult by this point for anyone to remove the linen cloth. And yet the Gospels record that the burial cloths were found in the empty burial tomb — neatly folded!

The body wasn't covered with a shroud i.e. a one piece garment, it is more like bandages. There were lots of fake relics going around, it was a money making scam. Please educate yourself.

  8. First off, Jesus was ugly because he carried our sins.
    Isaiah 53:2
"He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him."

Second, his head wrapping was a separate piece from the body.

    John 20:7
"as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen."

  9. He is beautiful like a Knight. Those muscles. He is WOW. Jesus is gorgeous. He should be, would be because he is the son of God. Seeing this made me LOVE HIM. I love you Jesus.
