So what makes this robot so powerful? How did this robot become so reliable over the years? And how does the team develop arguably the best Paint Job in the sport?

Hypershock is by far one of the best looking bots, the team also seem like awesome guys to be around.
Coolest looking bot in the show imho. Like a 90's RC Car from Hell. Can certainly do some mean flips, though some not by choice ;) Even has that RC Gun for driver input. I love it!
Hypershock has definitely made himself an elite bot with all the upgrades, however the exposed wheels, lack of armor and tendency to oversteer or flip himself over questions whether he can truly win the giant nut
I think one big improvement on current Hypershock is how it's no longer so bouncy. Hypershock would lose fights just by bouncing around and then ending up-side-down.
The actual bot is really good, but the Hexbug version can be terrifying

The way they made the interior cleaner and cleaner with each iteration of hypershock is just mwah🤌
It looks like something mass produced, that interior layout is cleaner than most cars out there
Hypershock is one of my favorite bots. My all-time best moment is always going to be the battle against Gigabyte. Wow! What a hit!
Hypershock really ticks all the boxes. It starts off strong by being such an aesthetic bot, both in shape and colors and designs, but then they are incredibly effective at both having a fast and nimble bot, along with a good driver, and then with a powerful and fairly reliable weapon. Then to top it all off they have it designed in such well though out modular way that allows for quick repairs and easily repeatable installation. Considering how many failures we've seen from something just not getting installed right it seems like the trick to making a consistently running bot. It also helps that they are all so friendly, but honestly that's been true of every single bot builder I've had the chance to meat. Great content!

I love that there's access to, what looks like, a complete machine shop, and another team's x1c 3d printer 😅 (looks like a spool of something high temp on the back, so tpu or nylon)

I didn't notice it when i watched it originally, but after watching Ray's video and then the fight from this angle, it's hard not to notice Tombstones weapon does in fact not spin up until right before Hypershock engages, and just completely sends Tombstone's ass right in to the weapon
Love how modular the robot is! It really streamlines the maintenance and building process. Also love how the team isn't afraid to have fun and be silly
I think the real secrets of hypershock are "I am speed."

To be fair idk if they say this in the video but tombstone was driven by the son of ray billings, not ray himself, he was still learning
