Tesla’s Optimus VS Boston Dynamics’ Atlas Robot Comparison W Elon Musk

Are you interested in the latest advancements in robotics? Look no further! This YouTube video compares two of the top players in the field: Tesla’s Optimus and Boston Dynamics’ Atlas. Both companies have dedicated years of research and development to creating some of the most advanced robots in existence.

On one hand, we have the newcomer, Tesla’s Optimus. This robot has made a splash in the industry with its impressive capabilities and sleek design. In just eight months, Tesla’s engineers were able to complete their star robot, Optimus. During the 2022 AI Day event, the robot walked out on stage, lifted its arm, and gently waved to the crowd. While the robot’s abilities may have seemed underwhelming to some, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated “the robot can actually do a lot more than what we just showed you. We just didn’t want it to fall on its face.”

On the other hand, there is the veteran, Boston Dynamics’ Atlas. This robot has been honed and perfected over the years through relentless testing and optimization. Its advanced mechanical systems and sophisticated programming make it a formidable opponent in any situation. The robot not only has the ability to walk, but can also dance, backflip, and perform other impressive feats with greater dexterity than Tesla’s robot, ‘Optimus’.

So which of these robots will come out on top? Will it be the newcomer, with its cutting-edge technology and innovative design? Or will it be the veteran, with its proven track record and advanced capabilities? Stay tuned to find out as we dive deeper into the capabilities and features of each robot, and compare them side by side.

  1. How THE FUCK is Teslas 'optimus' vaporwea….I mean robot even a CONTENDER as 'the most advanced' robot on the planet considering the company Atlas keeps?

So far Tesla have shown a man in a suit, a shitty moving mock up and what?

A bunch of staged promo videos and claims about what it can do?

    You people are fucking insane

  2. ok, well. Perhaps Musk should finish his hyperloop first. Oh.. and Twitter.. eh WTF, guess he never read Stephen Covey's books. No big surprise. Fired from Zip2, Fired from PayPal. Took Tesla 19 years before it made a profit. Tesla robot? Check for a person inside or someone standing nearby with a remote control. One thing Musk is really good at is burning investors' money and making promises he rarely delivers. If it weren't for the stellar engineers who actually do the innovated work, he would be a smudge on the unemployment line.

  3. Narrator "Boston Dynamics robots may be physically capable, they are still unable to use their hands to pick up objects"
Shows Atlas picking up 10lb box and putting it on a shelf with it's "hands adaptor", other videos show other Boston Dynamics robots with arm and claw assemblies picking up objects, moving them and placing them elsewhere as well as opening doors.

  4. Elons reputation has been largely Destroyed. Just one comment on his Twitter feed saying Nancy Pelosi’s husband actually super gay and brought that guy home for a shag, was over the top Cruel and Disgusting.

  5. This video is very pro-Tesla. And dated as to Boston Dynamics' advances. Which is funny, because when I think robots, my first thought is never Tesla. (I got nothing against Tesla, I actually like them. But I don't think of robots when I think of Tesla.)

  6. All Physics organic structure composites on OPTIMUS 🐝🐝🌞🌞are masculine gender oriented variables (less Humanoid and more ROBOT🤳🤳 ) where the center of gravity is less optimizable than on ATLAS relate to solidity 😤🕸🎨🐝👅⛷🤖😤😤🪀👅🐝 🌓🌞 and balance force ratio with variables environment although here's how having a hydraulic core makes all the difference between the most durable machines and the most expensive to replace .
OPTIMUS looks more aesthetic and for any other use 💫💫🩺🩺🤹‍♀🤹‍♀AMAZINGLY WELL PROPORTIONED to the overall cognitive aspect.
🌞🌞Human physiology is counted in a greater number of basic focus on 💙💙ATLAS which does not yet have computing power as high as on OPTIMUS whereas any machine is based on a concept of increased performance and evolution factors of durability .

  7. Yeah but at least it's already good enough that they could show you demos the other one show because it is not ready yet. It's just promises that have not been kept yet. Doesn't mean he won't

  8. The main problems in the world are climate change, hunger, poverty, shelter for homeless peoples and education. Rich organisations and countries should've emphasis on these issues instead of resources and money spent on robotics

  9. Movies simulation story simulations great field for explorations .. stories texts to simulations to train for system required tasks .. similar naheen hai..failures analysis, steps to fault tolerance, the robot fails to do so which makes it not comparative but a less competant simulator….

  10. your missing Amica owned by Engineering Arts who is goood with facial expression….. I actually think Boston Robotics should combine with Teslas automation AI software with Amica facial expressions should all combine to make a fairly good robot…

  11. Atlas is clearly a military robot for the time being. While Teslas Optimus robot is intended for home use for the time being. Eventually, those robots can cross over into the other companies market if they choose to.

  12. They both have something unique the other doesn’t….if both companies could come together n share ideas n knowledge then they would be better than they currently are…that’s if no one is being competitive tho😆😁

  13. Atlas' actuators are still faster than the Tesla robot, the only way the Tesla bot can dance is if it's a person in a suit, now if Tesla equipped their robot with a hydraulic system like Atlas has, then it could give Atlas a run for it's money.
