Question … have you come across a condition where the lower lids no longer close upwards meeting the upper lid, therefore, causing dry eyes? And is there a solution other than surgery?
I informed my opthamologist about Specialized Pro Resolving Mediators since RP runs in his family. He was quite grateful.

NEW CONTENT IDEA, how about a video on No-Line Bifocals? Theses are NOT progressives, they do not have a mid range or a canal. They just came out a couple years ago.

Nothing better than castor oil to prevent cataracts
Hi Dr Allen , I recently emailed you regarding a proposal to design your youtube thumbnails. I wanted to know if you had the chance to review it.
Thank you for everything, much appreciated.
Would you consider a video on NAC drops?
(N-Acetyl Cysteine)
They have helped a great deal personally then were taken off the market unless it's for animal use.
Cheers
I hope there is a vegetarian and seafood-free supplement.
Thanks for the very helpful video. I've been taking this for some years now. Could you possibly include links to the studies that you mentioned?,
I took it for a year but no improvement, in fact, my eyes have still gif worse…😢
Great knowledge but I'm leary as to who made Axazanthin and if it's Pharma no thanks. It would be synthetic. If its natural like herbs or oils I might think about it. Thanku for this video. Do let us know if Axazanthin works for you.
If I am doing print on demand or dropshipping, working the whole day in front of the computer and on my phone. I asked Chat GPT about this, so he told me about this list. Can you recommend which glasses should I use or out of this list which one is the best? Do you just recycle the same videos over and over again? Genuine question. I've been following you for years and the videos are just getting repetitive.
Just ordered my Astaxanthin. I hope it helps my dry eye, which gets much worse as we go towards the cold weather.
PLEASE list the negatives as well. Astaxanthin is amazing for eye health/inflammation but it is also a potent DHT inhibitor and can absolutely kill your libido.
I heard it can cause gynecomastia
The Areds 2 formulas have much lower levels. Where do you get supplements at the higher level?
Have taken it for
years❤
This is awesome..thank you 😊
I have my condition. It's uveitis / glaucoma together I would like to know what is good
Thank you sir ❤❤❤❤❤
I started taking Astaxanthin about a year ago and noticed an immediate change to my night vision and dry eye. It's something I use on a daily basis now. I also sent my son a week's worth to try for himself. I should ask him about it, but I will also send this video to him.
Thank you for making your viewers aware, Dr. Eye Health! I am 62 yrs old and not on any prescription meds!
Thank you for reviewing the studies on Astaxanthin. I started taking 12mg daily 11 years ago after getting some bad sunburns on glacier climbs. Also before taking I had noticed some ocular rosacea symptoms during the winter months when indoor air is very dry.
As a software engineer, I spend 12+ hours 5-6 days a week staring at screens. I haven't had a bad sunburn since I started taking Astaxanthin and my eye symptoms have also improved. (Though your other video on Omega 3s makes me think taking an Algea Omega 3 supplement also helps prevent dry eye.)
Another side benefit of taking Astaxanthin for 11 years is that I appear to be somewhat tan year-round even in cloudy Seattle. If it's enough to turn farmed salmon from grey to pink, it is likely doing that to my muscles and fat as well but at least the whites of my eyes are still white.
My friend who is a commercial salmon fisherman..he eats it every day and looks 35 at 55..skin like a baby
My ophthalmologist recommended lutein and astazanthan….i have been taking it for 15 years…also, I recently replaced wine with fresh orange juice….
I had an adverse reaction to Astaxanthin.. complete optical failure lasting for minutes.. finally figured it was the Astaxanthin… stopped and never had a problem since.
Great information, great video! Thank you for sharing about "Surprising Eye Health Benefits of Astaxanthin"!
