  1. Scientists don't "believe" in evolution. They accept evolution as the best explanation for the history and diversity of life on Earth to to the huge quantity and quality of positive supporting scientific evidence. That includes a great number of devout Christian scientists.

  2. For me, an ordinary person, going into a "universe" like the theory of evolution, would be too much. But as it one of those secular dogmas that must be taken en bloc and with mesmerised, unquestioning reverence, it is great to see it being put under the microscope.

  3. Absolutely love the idea that Pamela gave me while describing the example with photocopying of a picture. It could be used not only in order to explain the fact that there's no information increase with growing number of copies, but I thing it could also be used to talk about a basics of genetic entropy. My daughter will be exposed soon to all that mumbo jumbo in a secondary school and I am not in a position to pull her from there and do home schooling. Do you have any materials that would be appropriate to 11-12 yo kids? I've bought a few years ago the access to the whole series of the "Foundations Restored" but think it could be a bit too advanced for her.
