It's much smaller because it doesn't use hydraulic fluids any more. All movements are electric motors and servos. So you don't have to worry about robo pee anymore.

To be fair, Boston Dynamics is very aware of how creepy and terrifying their robots can be, so they've leaned into it. Being intentional about it allows for a greater degree of acceptance when they're not being as weird.
