  2. Thanks for a great clip. The "world" has lost it's mind when men like Dr. Kulldorff (and your good self) great treated in this way. It seems as if being "cancelled" by the academy is now a compliment to one's integrity and general usefulness to mankind.

  3. The lock downs were highly effective against covid – any doubters should review how New Zealand handled their lockdowns. The NZ citizens clearly fair better than almost anywhere else iin the world. In the USA the problem was the situation was politicized and large numbers of people were non compliant. This is why the death rate was so high in the US. The problem with allowing children to become infected is the number of ongoing serious illnesses they will experience for the rest of their lives.

  4. I wouldn't say that we have to be "ignorant" to do science and seek truth, though I suppose it's a matter of semantics. We just have to become again as a child. It's like.. were all born transparent to ourselves and the way we can do science is by understanding and appreciating formalism.

  5. Thank you Dr Kuldorff, Dr Batacharya, Dr Gupta, Dr Ionnedis, Dr Levitt, Dr Raoult, Dr Zelenko, Dr Gold, Dr Urso, Dr Kory, Dr Marik, Laura Dodsworth, Nick Hudson, Dr Mcoulach, Dr Lawrie…

  6. I agree with Dr Kulldorf that the bias is 50% over confidence of certain key people. However this contains a darker factor that the hubris is that other people are stupid so ironically must be force fed a sanitised version of the truth which, as we know, is not how truth works. Once you decide that the public needs patronising it is a small step to self deception and so the syndrome becomes entrenched.

  7. "Many academics are not intellectuals"

One of the most important things for people to understand in my opinion!

And for the record, I just love the term: "Invertebrate castrati" 😅.

  8. In my opinion Fauci and Birx understood the catastrophic damage that the lockdowns and school closures would do but they just didn't care. This makes their actions far worse. Dr Kulldorff, Dr Bhattacharya and the others who had the courage to speak out are heroes, and it really took great courage to do what they did. Similar to the courage it took to oppose the Nazi regime in WW2.

  9. I used something called "sequential detection" for GPS signal acquisition processing…. Used it for detecting a single "signal" among an array of noise sequential samples. Sounds like exactly what you're describing. The reason we use sequential detection is because the data samples are received in realtime and we want to make a reliable decision as soon as possible.

  10. I live in Minnesota. I used Dr. Kuhlldorff's ideas in 2020 (and also those of Prof. Saad) to go to three anti-lockdown protests here in Minnesota, in front of the governor's mansion and also at the state capitol. So I would not say these ideas did not have power (we had about 400 people at each protest and it made international news, and Trump tweeted "Liberate Minnesota!" so we were honey badgers in 2020!! Minnesota is also the most (only) Swedish-American state in the US and it would have made total sense for us to do what Sweden did. But our dumb governor here, Tim Walz, followed what I would call "China Lite" as his model – a half-assed lockdown. I am not suggesting that a full Chinese lockdown would work or be good. It would have been horrible. I also read the book, Blood Money, by Peter Schweizer, about how China is engaged in a non-shooting war with the US and I believe China used Covid-19 as a weapon (bio-weapon) against the US, whether intentionally or by accident and then intentionally. The original idea for lockdowns, as Schweizer writes in his new book, came from China and Niall Ferguson in London picked that idea up and the West ran with that Chinese idea.

  11. I think it was Thomas Sowell who said "in the middle of every debacle in American history there was a man from Harvard." I am not speaking of Dr. Kuhlldorff, who I greatly admire. I am talking about Harvard in general.

  12. 9:00 Gad, I think you're missing the factor that medicine is largely "captured" – it is not the rigidity of a settled conviction that is the problem here. It is bending to the power of the "purse."

  13. People weren’t “engaging with science at a very high level” when they questioned getting ‘vaccinated’ after having the disease the vaccine was supposed to prevent.
Anyone with half a brain and a grade two education understood how stupid that was.
