Checking the King Google translation of dictionary scriptures, the Pythagoreans coined the term mathematics from mathema meaning subject of instruction which we can view syllaballicly to say what lies under the source of structure, may seem farfetched at a glance but I believe that's what the definition of the definition is. The definition of mathematics is studies numbers, forms and their relationships which are words that relate differently to demonstrate the same meaning that math is the relationship of structures which is another word for symbol, object, idol, geometry, etc..
Many think that they are not very good at math but everything is relative and they should know that everything they do is literally doing math in their heads. Walking we predict where and when the foot and ground will intersect, etc., and adjust on the fly to the results we receive to readjust many variables with very little consideration needed. We can imagine a beach with people and all kinds of different things and it will appear like a painting started and finished in a moment and even a moving picture that is perfectly natural without even trying to think about all the different parts needed which appear as a picture we the imaginer of it could not predict before it's appearance. The same phenomenon occurs when we speak, walk, sip cocoa, everything. I remember a math teacher telling us about finding the solution to a formula is done by filling in the variables with their determined values which he termed plugging and chugging which is solving the equation. It may be that the formula is the process the subconscious mind follows spontaneously based on the information provided by the conscious mind. I believe our experience is created entirely through the process of imagination and the formula for this process in the broadest terms, primary definition containing many secondary definitions, is E equals MC2. I think C squared is better understood as the distance from the center of radius at a specific moment in time as determining the range of probabilities of what might appear in that moment. 🙏
