Great video chaps👍 I have just got my first TD5 2, caught out a bit when bought, but getting there – New battery, New Water Pump, Moral of the story if someone asks – give me a ring an hour before you Leave to view, it could mean a few things like a good battery being replaced with a duff one like in my case, just a warning chaps, One bonus is a solid Chassis 👍

I’ve got a 1995 absolutely no rust anywhere 👍👍I just got it the previous owner has own since new and it’s been garaged and never off roaded . It’s straight as 😊
Handy video this. Currently have a 2012 Freelander 2 but have always wanted a Discovery 2 and currently having a look to see what’s about. Would prefer a Td5 auto and as original as possible. Not many good ones left so time is now
Thanks for the video guys. i have a 2004, 5 seat comercial that is in exellent condition apart from the rear chassis. "Although" Now i have seen this i can check all that you have pointed out as i've not checked a quarter of what i need to look at.

I’m amazed that nobody sprays anti corrosion oil eg LANOX or wd40 . The rust in under around the chassis is so bad .
