Errrr, in the world without light why on Earth would anything develop luminescent skin if there are no eyes to see it? Eyes would not have formed as there's no survival upside at all.

Very imaginative, but at .1c, it would take 6350 years to go there. At .5c, it would take 1270 years. There’s a good chance the expedition would be totally forgotten, depending on what happens on Earth.

This is all very interesting speculation, however that is all it is. Detecting exo-planets as they pass by it's sun is one thing, Being to accurately calculate it's orbit and size is another matter entirely. Is Kepler 22b larger than earth, or does it only appear to be large as it is further out from the sun, which may make 22b actually larger than it really is. Also how does one calculate it's orbit accurately? Is the orbit circular, or elliptical. Has this system been monitored long enough to determine it's yearly rotation around it's sun.
While this video is entertaining in it's speculation, we really won't know anything until we can actually go there to see it.

Kepler-22b is 600+ Light Years away… We will Never study this world beyond basically what we know already… Maybe in a 1,000 years, we MIGHT find a way to fold space/time and create artificial blackholes that allow us to travel the VAST distances of space… Until then, it's all just a pipe d ream.
