Japan rolls out delivery robots | AFP



Robots have become a more common sight on Japanese streets as tech companies run trials for automated deliveries of food and other daily necessities by the machines. A change in Japan’s road safety laws, set to come into effect later this year, will allow self-driving delivery robots to navigate streets across Japan.

  1. This is a typical case of machines replacing human resources. This used to happen in the factories but now it’s happening on the roads. But I don’t think it will expand to many markets soon, because it requires many necessary factors; for example, a nice road, good citizen quality, good traffic conditions…etc.
