India is beginning to show its dominance in space exploration after the successful Chandrayaan-3 lunar exploration mission. And now the Indian Space and Research Organisation, ISRO, will soon be sending its first humanoid, Vyommitra, to orbit the Earth before its human-crewed orbital spacecraft, Gaganyaan. Vyommitra was first introduced to the world in January 2020 in Bengaluru. A test spacecraft crewed with Vyommitra is expected to launch in 2024.
