  1. AVP being canon is debatable.
I like to think they’re in two different universes. Like Prometheus-Alien resurrection is universes A and all the predator movies plus both AVP movies are universe B. You know cause infinite universes infinite possibilities.

  2. You don’t know anything about alien if you think 3 and 4 are the worst. Not great movies for sure, but the Prometheus and covenant shit is just way way worse.
Alien and aliens is just goated, after that it gets worse with every movie, excluding Romulus cause I haven’t watched it yet

  3. I do not know why this guy said that Prometheus explains how the aliens came to be when the origin of the alien species, the Xenomorphs, is never fully explained. However, the film does hint that an alien race known as the “Engineers” may have created humanity.

  4. Skip Prometheus and covenant cuz their really just not great films most of all and the atempt at explaining the history of the xenomorphs just ruins the mystery from the og alien. There are good bits i must say but overall their as bad if not worse than resurrection. Only my point of view so i dont wanna piss of any Riddly Scott apologists.

  5. No. Prometheus and Covenant are part of the new timeline. If you ask any Alien fan, those two aren’t canon. Prometheus was originally a separate universe before it was shoehorned in. The classic timeline doesn’t have those. But now we have lots of retcons thanks to Ridley.
(Though Alien Romulus gets a pass.)
