Certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction from Brown University, she holds a Bachelor’s from Duquesne University and an Executive Certification from UC Berkeley. A Functional Medicine Coaching Academy graduate and best-selling author, Reyné is a sought-after speaker on pilots’ mental health. Her latest book focuses on collegiate aviators’ mental wellness, showcasing her role as an aviation industry pioneer.   1. Safe flying, safe driving, safe boating, save climbing is a myth. Sure your safer than anyone else, but everyone else is on drugs, is tired, is confused, is not qualified to operate the vehicle they are in. 90 yr old pilots crashing and dying. Teens,setting Round the World Records dying. Astronauts dying in front of Millions. Yah, Aviation is great.

  2. Now, I thought Tedx did not want us flying any more! I mean, they always have speakers talking about climate change and aviation is supposedly one of the biggest contributors to climate change. Tedx contradicting themselves here! They can't have it both ways!

  3. This is really easy, you ask yourself, do I want the doors to stay on, if yes, check to make sure you're flying on an airbus or if you must fly boeing, at least bring a screw driver so you can re-install the parts that fall off

  5. it should be the doctor automayically reporting to the aviation medical examiner. and every few years your should have to report to a panel of doctors that serves to catch misstakes a single examiner might make.
