I swear, some of these achitects and engineers read books like 1984 and Farenheit 451 (in the case of the flamethrower robotic dog) and took them as blueprints for their projects instead of harbingers of tyranny.

A few months ago I got an offer for $300k from NSA or some dept to investigate spyware on TikTok. I said no cuz been in military and don’t wanna live isolated behind concrete walls, but I’m for reals it has to be a real threat for US to have moved like they did

I wore a GoogleGlass clone in London.. but not for long.
The hostility from random passers-by was major … so I put them away after 15 minutes.
Also, if you wear them in a wash-room you will be beaten to a pulp.
And they aren't allowed in banks, medical centres etc so you will need to keep taking them on and off .. until the day you forget and end up in court.
Finally, walking around with very expensive glasses is not wise .. they will be grabbed and stolen soon enough.

Meta Llama 3 note: Today On the earnings call (Q1.24), Zuck briefly mentioned they (Meta) would be looking at charging for use (inference) with the 400B+ model (still in training). – Which is why I'm thinking that in One Year, there is no moat for OpenAI, with Zuck saying (earnings call) that they will spend another 35 Billion+ on AI, while rolling out AI "tools" to business (FB Ads, WhatsApp, Instagram Shopping, Reels, etc) and Top Creators (Influencers) as Meta puts out a roadmap for Llama 4, 5, etc.
Please continue calling out the AI hypers/psychics and the failing of all the bs pyrite they keep promoting.
