FORGET Huawei’s Ascend 910C, USA’s NEW AI CHIP SHOCKED Everyone!

The global AI chip race is heating up! While Huawei recently unveiled its Ascend 910C, the United States has shocked the tech world with a new AI chip that promises to shift the balance of power. Join us as we dive into the details with expert Chris Miller, author of Chip War: The Fight for the World’s Most Critical Technology. In this video, we explore the intricate game of cat and mouse between the U.S. and China, the ongoing AI competition, and what it means for the future of tech innovation and national security. #AIChip #Huawei #Nvidia #ChipWar #TechNews

  1. If I were Jensen Huang, I would consider going to Canada and get MAID, I produced the most advanced, state of the art AI chip in the world but I can't sell it to China, the only country who would use it because the US said so, but the US don't have a market for my chip.
I've booked my ticket to Toronto.
    Goodbye from Canada.

  2. Who are they selling it to since they ban China? They need the quantity. Huawei Ascend 910C is only a stepping stone.
Anyway USA did not produce the chip. TSMC of Taiwan, China did.

They, Huawei or China is not suppose to build a chip that is better than Nvidia A100 just as they are not suppose to have 7nm chip for the Mate60 last year. Look at the bigger picture. China, at this moment has more than enough. Time is on China's side. You really don't have to have a Ferrari to go to the market. In this case a Mercedes Benz will suffice. Ferrari will come later.

You want to bet the Mate70 SOC will not be a 5nm?

  3. A truly dumb video. Chinese companies don’t buy NVidia chips because Huawei’s chips are already comparable to Huawei’s AI chips. But here’s the thing that your “expert “ doesn’t speak about. It’s the Taichi’, a light-based chip developed by Tsinghua University that leverages integrated photonic circuits to transmit data at blistering speeds while dramatically reducing energy consumption compared to traditional electronics. Overall, as an AI chip, Taichi is over 4,000 times faster and 1,000 times more energy-efficient than the high-performance Nvidia H100 GPU. The factories for this chip ( photonic chip factories) are being built now. Any photonic chip factories in the US? They are having trouble building conventional semiconductor foundries! All that is happening is the US is trying to damage Chinese companies enough to give US companies enough time to catch up, but as witnessed by the Ascend 910C, they are already building semiconductor foundries to build 3nm conventional semiconductors that ship has sailed.

  4. What's the point in having the best made-in-USA microchips when their government restrict and even banned sales to the biggest consumer of microchips China? The end game is to make profits in order to carry on with R&D for next generation microchips.

Necessity is the mother of invention & innovation!
When the U.S.A specifically banned China from the International Space Station (ISS), China built their own. While it took 15 nations to build the ISS, China did it all by their lonesome self.

China is the biggest market for microchips, and, without any doubt, China will be self-sufficient in their microchip consumption and, in time, also become the biggest supplier too. The world will then have a choice of US$100 made-in-U.S.A microchips or US$30 made-in-China microchips which are of equal and even better quality.

Most of the Western world seems to forget or ignore that China was a late starter into the technological world when, some 43 odd years ago, it was a dirt poor economically and militarily weak nation. Their economy was even worse than Mexico. Look at where they are today and now, being right at the starting gate when AI is taking off, I have absolutely no doubt that China will make much more progress than other nations who can only wonder and speculate where China will be in the next 50-100 years.

  5. Again and again national security with u.s ai advanced chip it's a useless if no country is buying it as of now u.s chip is going down lots of surplus after u.s imposed sanctions against china
