  1. Inherently more dangerous than a plane. They don't fail safely while a plane generally does. There's essentially no ability for a pilot to trade altitude for speed in a helicopter.

  2. NOBODY BRING THE FACT THAT THE BOLTS UNDER THE BLADE"ROTOR MAST " MAY BROKE…witnesses said ,they heard huge boom,in the video there is no fire not smoke coming from the helicopter..

  3. A piston engine powered Robinson and a twin turbine jet powered Bell have almost nothing in common. Except perhaps that the fatality rate of the Bell 206 is getting as bad as the Robinson is every day.

  4. When the dollars get in the equation somehow that safety checklist gets ignored and the pilots are expected to ignore that minor item sign off the checklist and fly . The alternative is the company will find someone that will. No different than the trucking industry or any other mode of transportation that is a business. Safety gets lip service….and a whole lot of it for a few weeks when a big crash happens then back to normal business in a week or two after the hoopla dies down. I'm sure some helicopter tourism company honcho will try to call me out but the truth of human nature and greed is constant.

  5. Maintenance and pilot error. It's an aircraft that according to physics isn't supposed to fly. But it does. Google the flying service. See how many Maintenance violations they have. How many flight hours the pilots have. Because flight hours are expensive. Do your research. Ask questions. If it sounds off. Don't fly with them. That's any aircraft or airline.

  6. let me get this right, helicopters have been around for… 80 ish years? no issues, but Elon hijacks the FAA and suddenly helo's are the most dangerous form of transportation at … let me check … 0.58 per 1 'million' flight hours, or … yep 1 death per 580 miliion people per accidents, compared to automobile at 1 death per 50 accidents?!?!

  7. It’s because why go out of our way and pay to fly in a helicopter and if it malfunctions you spiral to your death and blow up? There’s more car crashes but sometimes it’s the how you go….
