Dr Snow spent 14 years as a Research Associate Professor at University of Washington Department of Pathology and as Project Leader at the University of Washington Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. Dr Snow later founded two different private Biotechnology Companies to develop new small molecule drugs and nutraceuticals for memory loss, brain aging, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, other neurodegenerative diseases and misfolded protein disorders.

In his career, Dr Snow has been granted 18 National Institute of Health (NIH) awards, a $3.5M LEAPS (Linked Efforts to Accelerate Parkinson’s Solutions) from the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Disease Research, and is an inventor on 350+ issued patents throughout the world for drugs, nutraceuticals and screening technologies for brain aging, memory loss, neurodegenerative diseases and misfolded protein disorders.

In the early 1990’s Dr Snow published papers with Dr. Stanley Prusiner (who discovered proteinaceous infectious particles called prions in mad cow disease and scrapie) who went on to win the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1997.

In 2019, Dr Snow published a 109-page paper in Nature-Scientific Reports about the discovery of a plant from the Amazon rain forest whose polyphenols enter the brain in minutes and start clearing out brain plaques, tangles and inflammation, while markedly improving memory. His 2019 paper won the award for “The Top 100 Most Downloaded Research Papers for a Nature journal in 2019”. In 2021, Dr Snow developed and produced a novel dietary supplement for memory support called Percepta and demonstrated it’s ability to outperform the top 20 memory-support dietary supplements in the marketplace by greater than 50% in reducing brain plaques and tangles as demonstrated by comparative testing and in vitro screening. The Percepta product consisting of exclusive and patented PTI-00703 cat’s claw (a concentrated form of cat’s claw) and oolong tea extract is backed by 34 patents (including composition of matter patents issued in 2019 for Percepta and 2021 for Percepta Professional).

Dr Snow’s brain health channel (DrSnowBrainHealth) is premiered by his brain talk show format called “The Doctor Snow Brain Health Show” and is hosted by Scott Alford. It covers in-depth weekly different topics about brain health, brain aging and brain disorders that Dr Snow spent most of his life exploring. For example, Dr Snow tells stories of how he dealt with how own mother having Alzheimer’s disease as a care-giver for 8 years before she passed away. “My Mother Has Alzheimer’s” has over 444,000 views. In “The SNOWBRAIN Principles” (with over 276,000 views), Dr Snow describes lifestyle changes that will markedly improve your brain health in only a few months. In “Deciphering the Maze of Memory Supplements” (over 298,000 views), Dr Snow goes through the best and worse memory supplements in the marketplace today. In “Inside the Parkinson’s Brain” (over 85,000 views), Dr Snow discuss what goes on in the Parkinson’s brain, with particular reference to Michael J. Fox and The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Disease Research.

DrSnowBrainHealth is now the fastest growing brain health channel on YouTube, and one of the fastest growing brain health channels on the internet. Most of Dr. Snow’s research was private and secret for over 30 years. Now in his mid 50’s, Dr. Snow decided to start a YouTube channel, “because he knows too much about the brain”. He has been researching the brain since he was 20 years old.
