This 12v 200AH model is the second WattCycle LiFePO4 12V Battery I’ve used. I first purchased the 100AH model for my gate opener and have used it for 5 months now and I love it.
In this video we provide an overview of WattCycle batteries, test the capacity and charging time, and I’ll show you how easy it is to build an affordable 12V solar system using a 12V LiFePO4 Battery like this 200AH LiFePO4 model. All you need is a 12V LiFePO4 battery, a Solar Panel, MPPT Solar Charge Controller and a 12V DC to AC Pure Sine Wave power inverter.
This solar system is able to power a consistent 2000-watt load for short intervals or a smaller 100-200 watt steady load for well over 24 hours, with solar panel attached.
This is enough to get you through a grid down scenario powering lights, fans, cellphones, Wi-Fi, and your refrigerator, at intervals.
When not using the solar system, you can use the battery and solar panel to power other items like gate openers, electric fences, outdoor lighting, sump pumps or any other 12V devices.

I get lots of feedback on how expensive it can be to build a solar system, however; you can build a 12v solar system powerful enough to back up many critical loads in your home for a lot less money that you can buy a comparable solar power station or home solar system. What’s even better is that using a powerful 12v LiFePO4 battery like this one from WattCycle, the battery can be used in other applications when you don’t need it for back up emergency power. This project is simple to build and can be done over time on most any budget. (Bonus points if you can tell me how many times I say “Beast” in this video!) 🤣😂😆
I just built a 24v system on a board with a 24v 100amp battery and 2000w inverter. More power than my delta flow 2 and river 2 pro combined. Using with a 100/30 Victon and tested it last weekend with 500W of solar panels i already had. Worked like a charm. So for the SCC+battery+inverter (Giandel)was about $915 then another 150 for 6 gauge & 4 gauge wires and fuses and breakers.
