Join us for a sun-filled stroll through San Ignacio, Belize all the way to Carmelita Gardens, an off-grid, sustainable riverfront community in the heart of the Cayo District.

In this February Discovery Tour, we explore:

San Ignacio Market – the largest market in Belize
A classic Belizean breakfast: fry jacks, beans, eggs, and more
Rony’s produce highlights: macal, sweet potatoes, jicama, and chUcUmbers 😄
Belizean arts & crafts – hardwood carvings, butterfly art, conch jewelry & local paintings
Black Orchid ice cream stop – healthy(ish) and delicious
Backyard BBQ with residents at Carmelita Gardens

Plus, meet the people who make it special—Rachel from Luna Realty, Rony our rock-solid local guide, Mike & Mary, Senior Designer Louise, and some of our wonderful residents.

About Carmelita Gardens:
We’re an off-grid, self-sufficient community powered by solar, collecting rainwater, and growing local. A place where independent spirits come together to live intentionally in nature. Contact us at info@carmelitagardens.com for more info.
