Discovery Shuttle is Huge
The people below give you an indication of size of this spacecraft. The Discovery takes up an entire wing of the museum. The video is straight out of the Pixel 7 camera phone using the available lighting only, and the motion assist feature during the pan shot.
Here’s an older 360 video that gives you a closer view:
This Short was filmed using a Pixel 7 (unsponsored):
This museum tends to be on the dark side, with bright focused overhead lights.
Last 90 minutes of each day is free parking, otherwise it will cost you $15 per carload. Getting into the museum as with all of the Smithsonian is free. You can also be dropped off at the museum for free.

Imagine how much infrastructure that benifits all citizens could have been built with all the money used here…
I knew the space shuttle would be big, but i didnt realize it was THIS big.
Never again such an m. Iconic era in manned spaceflight.. saw first launch in person in April 1981. And attended a night launch, could see MECO. IN NYC ,ETRO AREAS
WHEN THEY LAUNCHED TO MIR…..AWSUM…..TOO BAD TOO COMPLEX TO FLY, A DISASTER WAITING. TO HAPPEN AND TAKE LIVES..WENT TO HOUSTON THEY HAD A ,mock up of payload bay with arm functional took up whole building
Garbage Elon musk's Rockets are way better😅😅
IGUALSINHO AQUI no BRASIL na BARREIRA do INFERNO 🤔😠
On the wing it says 27 Mile High Club.❤🎉
Holy, i didnt know how huge that space shuttle was
I don't know if I would say that it's big. I like the comment about it being on top of the 747 but with the Russian space shuttle it was on top of the Antonov An-225 which is huge. But I will say that it is an extremely beautiful-looking spacecraft. Especially when it's sitting on pad 39A before launching. It was an amazing time for the USA showing its strength in the exploration of space.

To tell you the truth after the trillions of dollars we put into space program and what they throw away daily we could have a museum in every major city
Not big in astronomical scale.
Is this at Kennedy space center in Florida ?
Deve ser um tijolo voador .
