In the immortal words of Shakespeare, "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." In this case, garbage by any other name would smell just as rotten. Who do these colleges think they're fooling by rebranding DEI as such things as "the Office of Access and Engagement"? If they were so confident that DEI is as positive as they say it is, then why didn't they just simply hire "lobbyists" to try and prevent the state legislations from being passed in the first place?
These colleges act like criminal fugitives who have to keep assuming new identities once enough people find out who they really are. Eventually, there will be nowhere left to hide and they will have no choice but to face the law directly.
