There’s a number of reasons I’m concerned about ai but robot uprising is not one of them.
1 Ai can’t actually think on its own it has to have preprogrammed objectives. So some idiot would have to give it the order to kill all humans.
2 ai is incapable of thinking outside of the box, adapting on the fly, or even contriving any solution or problem that isn’t already in its database.
3 so far darpa has an experiment with ai in which a group of marines slip passed it by cartwheeling, hiding inside of a box, and covering themselves with branches and walking like a fir tree. Meanwhile googles ai doesn’t even acknowledge white people exist.
If there is a robot uprising we’ll have no problem outsmarting those things.

I had a crazy conversation about AI and robots the other day and my "friend" kept saying, we will just program them to not be harmful. They don't seem to understand, the goal is to make AI sentient, which means it chooses how it behaves. The programming will be able to be done by the machines for the machines!
