Boeing Names Kelly Ortberg as New CEO

Congratulations to my fellow Iowan, Kelly Ortberg, as new CEO of Boeing! My favorite memory of Kelly Ortberg was during my first year at Rockwell Collins. Two friends and I attended a new-hire meet-and-greet with the Executive Vice President of Commercial Systems. Kelly Ortberg had a great conversation with the three us for about fifteen minutes. I remember that he asked me where I was from and I said Vinton, Iowa. Jokingly, he said "Boooo! Vinton-Shellsburg." I laughed and then he explained that his wife had graduated from Benton Community High School, which is the rival school of Vinton-Shellsburg High School.
