  1. Even though they took some of the beastliness out of the new Defender in favor of modern convenience, I like the new Defender. It has a great look for sure. It's more off-road capable than 90% of other vehicles on the market. You can give it to your wife to drive and she's not mad. It's a well rounded, off-road capable vehicle.

  2. I LOVE my P400 HSE. I'm 57, my Ranger Tremor was terrible for road trips. Like you mentioned, it's about your use case scenario. Jeep is more capable off road but I need to road trip several times a year 1300 miles over a weekend, and tow a 22' travel trailer. Jeep or Bronco wouldn't work. Defender is great off road here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, even with 20" wheels. No sharp rocks Tommy. Can't wait to see more Defender content.

  3. Love my Defender. Make sure you get a GAP IID Too and unlock the many features you’re missing. It’s also a good tool for reading codes and overriding many issues. Put some Sarek lift coil spring on it and it will be a beast.

  4. Having to hold the seat return button in would be a safety feature, otherwise an accidental press of the button as your trying to get in the back would result in a B pillar wedgie, most embarrassing.

  5. thx for the video. have always been interested in the D90 because it's the only US import version that is somewhat more utilitarian. Unfortunately having had 2 Rovers, a Disco and a Range Rover, (and driven many many others) my wife no longer allows me to own another one… lol (but I'm still looking for a "classic" D110…)

  6. I prefer the right hand drives, I'll put the money into a 90 and a110 project I have. We drive on the left side of the road in Dominica(not the DR) but besides that they were designed to be right hand drives with engine and transmission offset to the left. Better balance and more footwell space for the driver and middle front seat passenger

  7. Hey Tommy! I have a 130 and beware of the wheel locks!! I don’t remember if you had them on your 110 when you blew the tires, but I had a similar experience blowing two tires on a forest road and couldn’t do any thing about it because the dealer did not give me the wheel lock socket key. Make sure you have it before going off road!!!!!

  8. Yes ALL Defenders of any spec come with Low Range and Terrain Response. Super capable even in the most basic spec.

The plating next to the bonnet is called checker-plating.

The Bronco isn’t “really” a convertible. Yeah you can take roof panels out. But the whole roof doesn’t fold away. And who wants a convertible anyway – no one?

I don’t think any of us make our buying decisions based on your reviews – but we love watching them.

  9. I have shopped a D90 with steel springs; however I’m concerned that the underbody “protection” seems to be just some sort of strengthened fiberboard and not steel. With the 8” ground clearance are you concerned about dragging that weaker material over rocks and damaging a critical component? I’d appreciate your opinion

  10. $54k for this. I can’t wait to see how well it really does off road and on road driving daily usage. I know TFL will do everything with it. And give us the facts about it. Glad to see you are trying this again.

  11. These are growing on me, I actually know of two in my neighborhood within a few blocks of each other, one is a mint green with the steelies, and another one is the blue of the 110 you guys had. Apparently the people with the blue one really like it, because they also have a white 110.

  12. Finally! You get one with 18s!

Im in salt lake and I have a 24 p300 base 110, 18 steelies, skids, rear dif, air. I tow a car with it occasionally and offroad. I really like the small screen actually.

Let me know next time youre in town.

  13. Cars aside, do you know how many people want the relationship with their kids that yall have. The content is always fantastic, but I must also commend you for the father you must be. You sir are an inspiration in more than one way. Keep up the great videos
