Apple Inc., seeking new sources of revenue, is moving forward with development of a pricey tabletop home device that combines an iPad-like display with a robotic limb. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports this is part of Apple’s bigger move into robotics.

APPLE SHOULD CREATE SOMETHING PRACTICAL LIKE AN APPLE TV UNIT, A MAC MINI, OR MAC STUDIO WITH A PROJECTOR BUILT-IN OR CELLULAR AIRPODS. THE ROBOT IS ANOTHER FAILURE, THE IPAD THAT FOLDS IS DATED AND OVERPRICED, AND THE GLASSES CAN'T BE GENERIC SMARTGLASSES THAT DO NOTHING.

Is apple going to build a smart ring
Can't make a car, can't make a VR headset, virtually no AI to speak of， and we are supposed to believe they can build a robot. Let's be honest, their technology capability is last century, making things like a watch, an earphone, basically an over priced sony business. It's not a "tech" company

Vision Pro was the most revolutionary since the iPhone, Apple is the only company in the history to be patient enough to spend a few years and lots of money to help a product morph and mature. I suggest that people don't dismiss or laugh at Apple too early, we all remember how people think that the original iPod, iPhone, AirPods, Watch were just a gimmick in the first 2 or 3 generations.
