The loss of ancient forest's is a shame, we should expand them not graze the land to have a nice view of the sea for tourists. Like the national trust do in some places
You wont find many because any found ones will be picked up. We have used these for eons for tools and ornaments. The weird bit is were they naturally drop off after they have served their purpose during rutting. They grow a new bigger set every year. All the we love animals posts featuring deer with antlers are being rescued from fences or wire traps. Occasionally they lock together during fighting and cannot free themselves. There was a post yesterday from Canada of two Elk locked together. They were unable to approach them so a ranger shot ones antler freeing them both. Like putting an arrow through an arrow. Ill try and post a link. Last year not far from here I encountered 6 roe deer and fawns on a golf course . They just slowly walked into undergrowth. 8 ft behind a fence. This was about 1pm and was a magical moment. I have seen foxes , stoats and owls but that was my first local deer spot. A wow moment! Great find Dan. Hope you see one in the flesh soon. 🤠👍🦌

You're in Wales! Small place, everyone knows everyone.
I always know exactly where you are but i wouldn't tell anyone else that information. That's my business for me to know and me only, it's private.
