  1. Don't buy a ginger piece when you see the cutting edges. Ginger is prone to mold easily keep it at room temperature in a dry area but use it fast.

When you purchase uncut edges ginger roots peel and slice them thinly, put them in a sealed bag, and freeze them then last a very long time! With that you can make ginger tea soup or juice!

And when you cut the ginger if you see very fresh and pale yellow it's healthy ginger! However, if see the dark discoloration or pink color appearance on ginger that is molded even from the outside that's why they cut out the edges, and also with dark or pink spots around the inner circle of the ginger when you cut them, it's not fresh use it!!

Please don't overlook something just because it looks fat and fresh on the outside.

You can also use dried ginger powder but it can be well selected or not if you feel unsure then you can make dried ginger powder at home dry it grind it preserve it in a clean sanitized glass jar!!

  2. Ginger, when consumed goes through a series of digestion processes, which is not the same as applying ginger juice directly on bacteria.
But in general terms it has good antibacterial properties.
