I watch you working on all those electricals in the van and my eyes cross at how complicated it all seems to me. I would definitely think that considering how much time and effort and money you’ve put into Taylor, the last thing you want to do is replace her with something else bigger. I think you got years of van trips ahead of you in Taylor.

Hi Nick. Just watched your video on the solar panels and the battery balancing. Just a thought but I think the first battery was more run down than the others because of the way the batteries are connected together. I noticed the main positive and negative connections into the system are connected to the rear most battery and then the links go to the middle battery and then the front battery in parallel. When under large loads the rear battery will drain more because of the extra wire and volt drop to the other batteries.
If you leave the positive where it is and move the negative main take off to the battery near the front then the resistance in the wiring will be balanced and the batteries will run down equally.
