Canadian robot finds a buried weight equal to 250 million elephants beneath the ocean !
Dive into a groundbreaking discovery as Canadian robots unveil the hidden giants of our oceans! This remarkable exploration reveals an astonishing biomass of phytoplankton weighing as much as 250 million elephants. Using a network of 903 robotic floats under the Biogeochemical-Argo program, scientists are transforming our understanding of marine ecosystems and their critical role in climate regulation.
Join us as we showcase stunning underwater cinematography, highlighting the vibrant world of phytoplankton and the sleek design of these advanced robotic floats. This silent revolution beneath the waves holds the key to more accurate climate monitoring and the preservation of our oceans for future generations.

That is on the low side. I thought it would be in the billions or trillions of tons.
Clickbait. FFG
Useless.
What a stupid, nonsensical, click batey way to measure weight. Large weights are measured in ton, not elephants. Also, the AI voice says its 346 million tons. So that means they are giving under 1.5 tons per elephant. Unless it's a baby elephant they arent that small. That's under 3000 pounds. A fair weight to assign would be an even 10,000 pounds.
AI voice, AI generated channel logo.. this is clickbait spam.
Clickbait title. It said there is a huge weight buried, which reads like there is a very heavy single object either manmade or natural "buried" under the ocean floor. Also said found by a robot, not many robots, reading like this is some special robot.
It is not new knowledge that tiny organisms on the ocean altogether weigh millions of tons. This has been talked about for many years.
This is my first and last engagement with this channel.
I'm tired of these clickbaits. I won't even give it a thumbs down because that adds "weight" to the engagement algorithms that YouTube uses to push the video out even farther.
Blocking.
Same as my wife then
Science is good.
Understanding is good.
Fear is bad.
Why more people do not understand this?
