Interventional Oncology for Hepatic Malignancies by Prof. Kevin Kim, MD
Dr. Kim is a Professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and a Professor of Oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He is a core member faculty of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCC).
His research focus is in cancer therapeutic interventions, immuno oncology and interventional oncology. He has background in interventional radiology and specific training in translational science and expertise in immunotherapy and interventional oncology, focusing in primary and metastatic liver cancers. As PI or co-investigator, he laid the building blocks for the liver cancer research by developing colorectal cancer and liver cancer animal models, translational interventional oncology research platforms and thermal ablation as immune modulators with immunotherapy.
The current State-Of-The-Art Lecture was presented at the INEDSYS Hepatology Club meeting on January 11, 2025.
